WOW
First time purchasing one of Wintercroft Masks. I loved it. It took me a bit longer than I expected buy I enjoyed the making a lot. I think the guidelines could be a bit clearer in terms of how to handle the layouts in bigger formats or how you could save time by placing correctly the layout on the final material. The piece inside wasn't clear for me how to put it, so I decided to use foam stripes to adjuts the mask to my head size
Nice !
I love doing this helmet, it's a bit tricky but is very fun.
Perfect for masquerade ball
Impressive design and straightforward construction. I'd recommend super glue, not glue stick, for the tabs which would have saved me a lot of drying time and is much stronger anyway. Don't try to tape it together which I'm not convinced is even possible with some of the pieces on this mask. This was my first of these masks and I'm really glad I stumbled across this site.
Damn awesome mask
Damn awesome mask
Excellent helmet with a single rough patch
I love this helmet. It's futuristic and sleek looking. Putting it together was pretty standard Wintercroft assembly (easy and intuitive) up until the under-eye guards where it got a little confusing. Since the geometry of the under-eye spacers didn't really match the geometry of the helmet in a way that was immediately obvious to me (even after reading the instructions two or three times), I just made up an arrangement that just made sense to me. The shaded patterns on the spacer and on the guard were helpful but didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I'm really looking forward to painting this one and trying it out!
