Ever fancy draping an invertebrate arthropod exoskeleton over your head? Who knew that such a blue-blooded bottom feeder could reach the height of fashion? Gaze through the claws of the mighty lobster headpiece and see the world through a crustacean’s eyes, when danger presents itself, engage your caridoid escape reaction.
Steve’s Lobster isn’t really a mask or a hat, but more of a stylish headpiece, great for attracting the right kind of attention. Lightweight, form-fitting and accommodating come to mind whilst describing this bit of millinery mastery. Sip from a cocktail freely or eat your fill without bother, but do so in style with the cortex of a large sea bug sitting atop your crown.
Our headdresses are designed to help you win friends and influence people. Our team here at the Wintercroft lab meticulously researches human behaviours and interactions, ensuring that when you don the headpiece you optimise yourself for maximum interactivity. So next you step out, put a crustacean on your head and go meet your new life-partner, ace that career interview, or simply look weird and wait for someone interesting to approach. It’s not just a headdress, it’s a lifestyle.
Simply print the templates on paper, stick them to card, cut them out, match the numbers and join the tabs together. The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print - check our FAQ page for details. The templates come with instructions for an internal head band that can be adjusted by moving the fixing points to get a snug fit. Some templates are supplied with component colour guides to help you create identifiable markings unique to the Mask.
