The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print - check our FAQ page for details. Definitely a longer project to complete between the assemblage of the head and then each of the claws in turn but comes out impressive. Easy enough to adapt into metallic and classic dragons.
Surprisingly easy to put together and looks amazing, would defiantly recommend to others.
I ended up making this mask several times because I was resizing it for a kid. It was a good pattern and assembled well. I have two thoughts though. 1 there is one score line that is in a cut layer so that's a bummer. Once you know where it is you can just mirror the one from the other side to avoid that. 2 it's much easier to score the numbers in rather than write them which isn't great on dark colors and requires a tool change for every piece
This is such a great looking mask. It really does take a while to put together and you need to be patient with yourself as you do so but it is really worth it the end result is gorgeous.
The pattern is fairly straightforward. The tail section parts are all numbered so you know which order to assemble them in. It’s a pity this is done for the whole pattern as it would save a lot of searching about
