Mawlog - The Bone Chipper
DIGITAL DOWNLOAD
Travellers be wary when you hear the creaks and crackles of the wood – for it might not be the forest trees stretching out or swaying in the sunset. Those that know the knocking from the hollow could be the music of fate playing out a tune of warning… The tune of the Bone Chipper… The tune of Mawlog.

The Tale of Mawlog
In a hut of bones, he whittles, clicks and locks together tapestries that tell his terrible tales. Mawlog is a legend in wooded regions and is sought out often by brave children and locals. His hideous ladders of sinew and ulna are seldom found and when they are, no has been brave climb them. Legend has it that Mawlog is searching for the highest peak, to build a structure of the skinless and retrieve the Moon for his cursor, Grelin, who set upon him this impossible task. He scavenges the forest, foraging from the carrion piles left behind by the last giant Jungan, to build his great ladders. However, sometimes, he must source fresh bones, pulling them from the screaming skin of the living.
With a hammer tooled from the tibia of a giant, he bludgeons wayward wanderers and commences with the great preparation. Beware his tool-scroll of tattooed skin. When unravelled, sharpened tools fashioned from fingers glisten with the pallor of the moon. These are the instruments of your undoing and his ears are ready to drink the sweet music they make. He sees the human heart as a bird in a cage, a bird he is compelled to set free.
