Hillary Jones from LUSH COSMETICS UK has been a long-time collaborator, instigator of positive change and activist advisor for some now iconic mask designs. From the very beginning, our masks have been intended for use as powerful vehicles to help initiate pro-active, positive change. Steve’s new Mouse Mask continues this legacy in close collaboration with LUSH UK, raising awareness for the petition against a 100-year-old archaic and cruel testing process known as LD50.

‘Time for better science’ is the manifesto of Animal Aid, whose 2023 campaign calls out for the ending of the outdated ‘lethal dose’ method of toxic exposure conducted on animal test subjects. Mice are still exposed to LD50 now, which is an antiquated testing method developed in 1920. Read more about this important initiative here and sign the petition to help end cruel testing. 

Simply print the templates on paper, stick them to card, cut them out, match the numbers and join the tabs together. The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print - check our FAQ page for details. The templates come with instructions for an internal headband that can be adjusted by moving the fixing points to get a snug fit. Some templates are supplied with component colour guides to help you create identifiable markings unique to the Mask.
