Arrive
As usual the build was well thought out and easy to follow. The connection between the top and bottom half was perhaps a little less robust than some of the masks but a good coating of papier mache fixed that! We wassailed with it with joy , mixing it up with other rather older Maris!
Mari Lwyd!
Google "Mari Lwyd" if you'd like to see what we used this mask for during our annual Traditions of the World holiday party. I had such a fun time assembling this mask that I purchased another set of animal skull masks that I'm very excited to put together.
Horse Skull for Mari Lwyd
This was my first purchase and I was not sure what I was exactly getting myself into! But everything was so plainly and easily explained, and the pieces went together so well (after a few fumbles of my own doing!) The finished mask was perfect for our first Mari Lwyd visit on Christmas Eve. It was fine to build and decorate. Looking forward to recreating a sturdier one for next year! I would definitely check here for any future masks, holiday decor type projects and just fun crafty things to build.
Brilliant fun
It was just right difficulty wise. Love the result and keen to make more! Beautiful designs.
Printed with paper, then tried to cover with clay. Mask shattered because I got impatient with clay and kept layering it and made it heavy, but that's my fault, not the template's. The result before then ended up looking fantastic. I have an idea for next holiday season of how to better prepare a mask with this template.
