Commedia Dell’ Arte Capitano
DIGITAL DOWNLOAD
The prancing peacock, the flirtatious swaggering braggart. Capitano is a 16th Century Italian caricature of a swanning, arrogant attention seeker who will say anything to draw the eyes and ears of others. Proud of his significant proboscis, he’ll strike poses to accentuate it’s silhouette at any opportunity. This pretentious pseudo-intellectual is easily revealed to be no more intelligent than the Zanni that carry his things.

We designed these masks specifically to help teachers, so if you would like to use them in an educational setting, please get in touch via our contact page, so that we can let you know how to go about this. The minimum age we suggest for this set would be 13+. Due to the level of expression required for Commedia Dell’ Arte masks, they take more dexterity to assemble than many of our animal masks. For younger children, our Woodland or Jungle Animal Sets work great.

Simply print the templates on paper, stick them to card, cut them out, match the numbers and join the tabs together. The Mask is scaled to fit an adult but you can make children's masks by scaling down the templates when you print - check our FAQ page for details. The templates come with instructions for an internal head band that can be adjusted by moving the fixing points to get a snug fit.
