Good construction and comes together well - would consider adding in a trophy mount option as well for this.

I love these masks, design and ease of build are fantastic. I have to confess to wandering from the basic cardboard aesthetic I’m afraid as our local village panto wanted two pantomime horses for the show this year. So I printed out the heads at A3 size to scale them up a bit. I then made them in the usual way (with Weetabix boxes), covered them in layers of brown paper, a layer of J cloths stuck with PVA then a layer of EVA foam floor mats (used the pattern blown up a little more to allow for the thickness of the foam). I could then carve the foam into the muzzle and chin shape and to create some cheeks. The final shape was then covered in fabric. I also braced the inside with some strip aluminium and a baking sheet (from Poundland!) riveted to the cardboard so I could run some pulleys and bike cables to operate the eyes and mouth. In the end it was a little heavy so I then had to make a harness out of some roof straps to take the weight onto the performer’s shoulders. The head was wing nut bolted to the harness - another reason to brace it internally with some metal strips and T plates. The show went well! Now it’s all over I think I’ll make the unicorn mask - just for me this time! Thanks guys - I think your products are amazing. I may go for the dragon next as I’m currently working on some digi-stilts and plan to make a full dragon costume!

Patterns are really well thought out. Ended up printing on paper and spray gluing to 22 point cardstock. Cut with razor and scissors. Glued with glue stick and reinforced with packing tape. Used pen trick to pre-crease folds. Spray painted afterwards. If you're used to crafts you'll have no problem.
